The International Procurement (IP) Group of Hitachi Asia provides sourcing services in association with Hitachi China Ltd. Its established network of offices in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, India, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China and Korea enables thorough and timely sourcing of parts, materials, software and contract manufacturers to Hitachi's manufacturing facilities worldwide.

The Group's forte is sourcing and procuring the best materials at the best possible prices. Strong ties with its warehousing partners also enable the Group to provide value-added services like stock consolidation. Capitalising on its accumulated product knowledge and engineers' expertise, the IP Group contributes to value engineering and provides solutions for cost reduction at Hitachi's manufacturing plants.
